1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Obsidian Consortium website at obsidianconsortium.space (the "Site"), purchasing items from our store, or participating in any corporation program (SRP, buyback, hauling, etc.), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site or participate in our programs.

These terms apply to all users — members of The Obsidian Consortium (OB.CN), non-members browsing the public site, and customers purchasing from our WooCommerce store.

2. Definitions

"The Consortium" or "OB.CN" refers to The Obsidian Consortium EVE Online corporation (Corp ID 98809146), its leadership, and authorized officers.
"EVE Online" is the MMORPG developed and owned by CCP hf.
"ISK" is the in-game currency of EVE Online.
"PLEX" is the premium currency in EVE Online, purchasable with real money from CCP.
"ESI" is the EVE Swagger Interface — CCP's public API for accessing game data.
"Member" is an EVE Online character who is a member of OB.CN and has authenticated via EVE SSO.
"Customer" is anyone who purchases from our WooCommerce store, whether a member or not.
"Doctrine Ship" is a ship fitted per OB.CN's official fleet doctrines, sold pre-fit via the store.
"SRP" is the Ship Replacement Program — reimbursement for ships lost in OB.CN fleet operations.

3. EVE Online & CCP Relationship

The Obsidian Consortium is an independent fan-run organization. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CCP hf. EVE Online and all related logos, art, ship designs, and trademarks are property of CCP hf. This Site is for corporation management purposes and does not represent CCP in any way.

All EVE Online items sold through this store (PLEX, skill injectors, doctrine ships, BPCs, salvage, isotopes) are delivered via in-game contracts. We do not sell CCP's intellectual property — we sell the labor and convenience of consolidating items from our members' hangars and delivering them to yours.

CCP's End User License Agreement (EULA) and Terms of Service take precedence over these Terms for any in-game activity. If CCP changes their policies in a way that makes our programs impossible (e.g. banning ISK-for-cash transactions), we will adjust accordingly and refunds will be issued for undelivered orders.

4. Account & Authentication

4.1 WordPress vs EVE SSO (Critical)

This Site has two completely separate authentication systems:

WordPress Login — used by site administrators to manage content (wp-admin). Not for members.
EVE SSO Login — used by corporation members to access the member dashboard, SRP, doctrine, etc.

Being logged into WordPress does NOT give you access to member-only pages. You must authenticate via EVE SSO separately. WordPress admin accounts cannot access member features without also SSOing.

4.2 EVE SSO Scope Consent

When you log in via EVE SSO, you grant OB.CN access to the scopes listed in our privacy policy. You may revoke this access at any time via the EVE Developer Portal → Applications → Revoke.

4.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your EVE Online account. CCP's 2FA protects your EVE login. We are not liable if your EVE account is compromised and someone uses your character to access our Site. Report any suspicious SSO activity to CCP immediately.

5. Store Purchases

5.1 Two Payment Types

Our store accepts two types of payment:

Real Money (USD) — via Stripe or PayPal. Used for physical merchandise (OB.CN T-shirt) and discounted digital items (PLEX, skill injectors).
ISK (EVE Online Currency) — via in-game contracts. Used for in-game items (doctrine ships, BPCs, salvage, isotopes). The "ISK price" shown on each product is the contract value.

5.2 ISK Purchases (In-Game Contract Delivery)

For ISK purchases, the workflow is:

Place the order on this Site (no real money charged).
An OB.CN officer creates an in-game contract to your character within 24 hours. The contract is item-exchange — you receive the items, you pay the ISK contract value.
Accept the contract in-game. The ISK is deducted from your wallet; the items appear in your hangar.

If the contract is not delivered within 48 hours, contact an officer in Discord. You will receive a full refund (the order is cancelled) or the contract will be re-issued, at your preference.

Once you accept the contract, the order is complete and non-refundable. You cannot return in-game items after acceptance.

5.3 Real Money Purchases

For real-money purchases:

Payment is processed by Stripe or PayPal — we never store your credit card information.
For digital items (PLEX, skill injectors): the in-game contract is created within 24 hours of payment confirmation.
For physical items (T-shirt): ships within 3 business days from Estonia. Delivery time depends on your region (see product page for details).

5.4 Pricing

All prices are in USD for real-money purchases. ISK prices are dynamic — they update hourly from ESI market data (Jita sell price) and may change between when you place an order and when the contract is delivered. The ISK price at the time of contract creation is the price you pay.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Changes do not affect orders already placed.

6. Refund Policy

6.1 ISK Purchases

Contract not delivered within 48 hours: Full refund — order cancelled, no ISK charged.
Contract delivered but you have not accepted: You can decline the contract. The order is cancelled. No refund processing needed since ISK was never transferred.
Contract accepted: No refund. You received the items as described.
Wrong items delivered: Contact an officer in Discord within 7 days. We will issue a new contract with the correct items and cancel the original transaction.

6.2 Real Money Purchases — Digital Items

Contract not delivered within 48 hours of payment: Full refund via the original payment method (Stripe/PayPal) within 5 business days.
Contract delivered and accepted: No refund — the digital item has been transferred.
Contract delivered but you have not accepted within 7 days: The contract expires. Contact us for a refund or contract re-issuance.

6.3 Real Money Purchases — Physical Merchandise

Defective or wrong size: Full refund or replacement within 30 days of delivery. Contact us via Discord with a photo.
Lost in transit: Full refund if tracking shows no delivery within 30 days of shipping.
Changed your mind: No refund, but you can exchange for a different size (return shipping at your cost).

7. SRP (Ship Replacement Program)

The SRP program reimburses members for ships lost during official OB.CN fleet operations. To qualify:

The loss must occur during a fleet op announced in Discord at least 24 hours in advance (or an emergency defense fleet).
The ship must be one of OB.CN's official doctrine fits (listed on the /doctrine/ page).
The killmail must be verifiable on zKillboard.
The claim must be submitted within 7 days of the loss.

SRP payouts are at the discretion of the officer reviewing the claim. Common reasons for denial:

Ship was lost solo (not in a fleet).
Ship was a non-doctrine fit.
Loss was due to clearly avoidable pilot error (e.g. jumping into a known camp alone).
Loss was in high-sec outside of an organized war target engagement.

Approved SRP claims are paid via in-game contract (ISK) within 48 hours of approval. Denied claims can be appealed once via Discord to the CEO.

8. Buyback Program

The buyback program purchases loot, salvage, ore, and PI products from members at 90% of Jita buy price. To use:

Use the buyback page to paste your items and get a quote.
Create an in-game contract to "OB.CN Buyback" with the items and the quoted ISK payout as the contract reward.
Once the contract is accepted by an OB.CN officer, the ISK is sent to your wallet.

Quotes are valid for 24 hours. After that, the Jita price may have changed and you must re-quote. Contracts that do not match the quoted payout will be rejected.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Site to violate EVE Online's EULA or Terms of Service.
Use the Site for real-money trading (RMT) outside of our WooCommerce store. ISK-for-cash transactions outside our store violate CCP's terms and will get your account banned.
Attempt to exploit bugs in our SSO, ESI, or WooCommerce integration. Report bugs to an officer — we reward bug reports.
Spam, harass, or threaten other members via our Discord, wiki, or comments.
Share your EVE Online account credentials with anyone.
Scrape our market data or ESI cache for commercial purposes without permission.

Violations may result in: removal of SRP eligibility, removal from the corporation (in-game kick), ban from this Site, and/or reporting to CCP for EULA violations.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all programs are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee:

That the Site will be available 24/7 — Hostinger may have downtime, and we have maintenance windows.
That ESI data (market prices, character data) is accurate in real-time — CCP's API has caching and rate limits.
That doctrine fits will win fights — they are recommendations, not guarantees.
That SRP will be paid for every loss — payouts are at officer discretion per Section 7.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Obsidian Consortium and its officers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of in-game ships, ISK, or assets.
Loss of real money (capped at the amount you paid us for the specific transaction in dispute).
Downtime of the Site or any third-party service (Hostinger, CCP, Discord).
Decisions made based on our market data, doctrine fits, or wiki content.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced in Discord and posted on the /news/ page. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Iceland (where CCP is headquartered) for any EVE Online-related disputes, and by the laws of Estonia (where the Site is hosted) for any Site-related disputes. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration where possible.
